Thank you all for the bday wishes, comments, privates, tweets, thanks vermeil & snowy_yuki for the virtual gifs :D (both gave me purple glitter glasses, which couldn't be more suitable for me XDDD)...


You know, I've been in a pretty weird mood lately, the last months have being weird in so many ways, but you know, everything is forgotten, at least temporally, when you are with friends :)
For my bday I had to opportunity to meet with my friends, in different days & it felt good.  I tend to isolate myself but but I glad that from time to time I see my friends and they aren't tired of me... (yet? xDD)





My friend Antia gave me Eugenides' The Virgin Suicides book :D I love the movie & I wanted to have the book :D

Seki is 'down' because it's such a sad story :/




The 4th I meet with friends I know since high school :D I see 2 of them regularly, the other not so much :/


Poe's complete Tales :D  I love Poe but I only read a few of his tales so... :DD & the translation is done by Julio Cortazar, an author I love (& I would recommend his short stories to everybody :D)



& The Catcher in the Rye, in English :D I read half of it before and I was thinking of buying a copy for myself . So I'm glad I got it :D I'm very pleased it is on English :D



Probably the new people on lj isn't aware that I'm a Take That fan since I was 13 or 14 years old,more than 10 years ago :O They were such an important part of my teenage days ... :D Now it's different and I enjoy them in another way but I still love them & I love their new work :D Here their last album & dvd which I was missing :D



& they got me something else online but it's still coming our way xD So no pic yet (neither I know what it is XDD)
Oh! I also got two lip piercings, one black & one purple :D


& the next day I meet with more friends, the fangirls :D

For Seki , this is serious business XDDD He is guarding  the pretty boys & pretty girl XD (i love his face here XDD)



I was very surprised with this since this pb is out of stock in most laces & I was very annoyed I couldn't get it. Now I have it :DDD
& Seki loves Genji too, he (seki) is a badass after all (or that is what he wants to believe... I just go along with it... poor thing XDD)


& The Twin pack of MW! Actually very happy to have this, I love the movie & wanted to have it & now I even have the special with Takeru <3
Both dvds come with the original extras (which I didn't see yet)
It's the first think I have of Takeru & Tamaki :D (not Yamada, since I own the Crows Zero movies)


& This :D  I love Jun, Seki loves Jun :D & well... This tsukasa moment is priceless XD


Once again I'm not exactly good at expressing myself in person but I loved the presents & I'm really happy :)





On a totally different note, I started reading The Southern Vampires books (in which True Blood is based) & I was truly surprised by the humor on them, leaving aside the blood, sex, supernatural beings & mysteries, the novels have a touch of humor that I'm enjoying a lot.  I'm in the middle of book 4 & so far I like the books pretty much.

Hehe, you must be a bit of a bookworm, I'm loving all the books you got!! I only saw The Virgin Suicides movie after I read the book, but to me, the film felt really empty and not nearly as engaging as the book (but isn't that always the case with novels that have been turned into movies?). I think the movie really didn't convey what the novel so beautifully did...But anyway, great book! Really loved it :D

I got so excited when I read that you're reading The Southern Vampires books because I've read all of them (plus I'm starting on the latest one now adlkjfsdkljfl) and as you said, I really enjoy the humour! My friend spams my fb page with quotes from the books, hehe.
